“We have finally submitted our Petition today at a well-attended Press Conference. The Council of Patriots (CoP) and fellow Liberians now look forward to Govt’s response WITHIN a month so as to inform our subsequent actions, where necessary. No further mass gathering under the CoP until then!

We also note with commendation, the roles of the UN, AU, ECOWAS, the US Embassy near   Monrovia and other development partners for mediating and stressing the need to consider and keep the peace and stability, as well as our State security officers for the displayed professionalism, notwithstanding their initiate attempt at instilling fear into our people.

Meanwhile, we remain constructively engaged with our people and Govt on trending issues in the country as we await the one month period.”
